A unique challenge to help your church live out Jesus’ call
The Matthew 25 Challenge is a week-long discipleship tool for your congregants to step out of their comfort zones and engage in Jesus’ love for “the least of these brothers and sisters of mine.”
How the Matthew 25 Challenge Works
Launch Sunday November 12
Invite your church into the Matthew 25 Challenge. This would be a 7-10 minute focus at the start or end of the service. Share your heart, play the video, invite everyone to take out their phones and text to opt in to the challenge. Then hand out cards with the daily challenges listed so they can prepare their hearts for the experience.
Your congregation will receive text messages with 7 daily challenges, impactful stories of children around the world, prayer points for families, and engaging elements like 360-degree videos and activities.
Matthew 25 Sunday Novembr 19
After your congregation has experienced the challenges and stepped out of their comfort zones, this is a great time to call them to action. The week concludes with a Matthew 25 Sunday, where families are invited to live into Jesus’ call by sponsoring a child.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…”
- Matthew 25:35 (NIV)
